Fishkill 23-Year-Old Caught With Heroin, Cocaine In Putnam, Sheriff Says

A Fishkill man has been charged after he was caught with heroin and cocaine in Putnam, according to a report from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley Jr. states that a deputy from the department observed suspicious activity between a male and a female at Putnam Plaza in the area of New York Sports Club in the Town of Carmel on Thursday, June 20.

Further investigation revealed that the man, identified as Nickolas Snowden-Decola, 23, of Fishkill, was in possession of heroin, cocaine and hypodermic needles that he did not have a prescription for, according to the sheriff.

Snowden-Decola was arrested and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor, as well as possession of a hypodermic instrument, a Class A misdemeanor.

Snowden-Decola was released after posting $250 cash bail and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Carmel Justice Court on a future date.
